Nice homey house in W. Bremerton. Quiet neighborhood. Woods across the street. Big fenced yard and garden. Big double sink shared bathroom. Two living rooms. Enclosed front porch room. Gas fireplace. There’s a garage we use just for storage, and you can have a little space in there if you need it, or basement storage. This was a family home and my kids are grown. I’ve been here 20+ years and have all the stuff a house needs. Room can be furnished or not. Street parking. Bus stops, groceries and park are walking distance. The other housemate works at the shipyard, and watches a lot of sports. We’re both thoughtful about sounds intruding and use headphones or earbuds as needed. The available room is full of storage for now so no pic, but you’ve got a good sense of the house.

I’m a retired teacher and long standing antiracist climate justice activist, with zero tolerance for fascist apologists. Vegan, and I’d love vegan housemates, but not a deal breaker. Doug’s not vegan but also not much of a cook so the house never smells like fried chicken! I use the front room for meetings and choir practice a couple of times a month, and you always have the use of the second living room. There is so much garden (on all 4 sides of the house) that if you have any garden skills we could barter for a few hours a month to cut your cost. I’ve given up vegetable gardening in favor of a CSA but if you want to garden, you could have a section for your own vegetables. I’m very busy, not looking for “company”, hoping for a person who is friendly but not especially needing anything from housemates.
