Our home is located in the quiet suburbs of southeast Aurora and backs up to a green-belt trail. We are 25 minutes south of DIA, 30 minutes to Downtown, 15 minutes to Denver Tech Center.. under 2 hours to most ski resorts/mountain activities. Close to bus stop which leads to light rail at Nine-Mile station. The room is an upstairs bedroom in our 2-story house with a basement. The room is furnished and includes a queen-sized memory foam bed, two end tables, min-fridge and microwave, chair, desk, and large closet with a dresser. The bathroom for the rented room is in the hallway just outside of the bedroom and is for renter use only. Common use areas of the house would include kitchen access, laundry access in the basement, smoking area in garage “man cave”, the deck and backyard, hot tub/gazebo and the front porch/yard. We do rent out the basement room through STR site (about 30-50% of the time). So, we will sometimes have 1-3 people staying with us for 2 or more nights at a time. If you have a car, you are welcome to park in front of our house on the street or in the driveway, on a first come basis. Rental price is $1000 a month plus $100 for utilities and trash pick up.

We are an older (60s) couple who are well-established and have lived in the house for 20+ years. Our kids are grown and live nearby. We enjoy spending time with them and grandkids, friends, etc, when we are home. We love the outdoors for off-roading, skiing, fly-fishing, exploring Colorado, and beyond. We have a large German Shepherd dog and a Belgian Malinois that are indoor dogs. Sarge and Lucy have free run of the house and yard, but are generally not in the guest rooms unless you invite them. They are very friendly and like to cuddle, but they don’t always respect personal space, so if you don’t like dogs, you might not be comfortable with our home.
