This home is a victory garden and kitchen style cottage from the 50s. Cute little living spaces; not an open floor plan. Right in downtown Florence, between the city center to the west (incl. minutes from the weekly Saturday farmer’s market), the modern shopping centers to the east (a spare few more minutes to Aldi or the mall), and 6 minutes south to my favorite park to walk beneath trees.

Offering the large master bedroom with 3 windows, beautiful hardwood floors, ceiling fan, and a cedar closet. This room is plenty large enough for multiple defined purpose spaces (such as bedroom, desk, and TV area).

Amazing kitchen with enough pretty wooden butcher block counter space and cupboards for multiple people’s projects. Cozy triple-windowed breakfast nook for eating or doing work, with a command center whiteboard to leave notes. The laundry machines are in a neat workshop off the kitchen that boasts more storage for grill, garden, and kayak supplies. Nice shady backyard and covered outdoor “pig pit” brick barbecue grill with flue. The carport and slab provide room for a small greenhouse and herb beds. In addition, the one full bathroom has plenty of storage for two people and a cozy flower vibe. The great hall includes a library of dvds and cds. I’m also actively working on a native plant patio seating area.

A bonus room! The third bedroom is the shared “zen space” equipped for yoga, meditation, lifting weights, and hula hooping. I have put effort into making my home a peaceful space!

There’s a Dutch door between the front two rooms and the great hall leading to the rest of the house. That’s where my personal small bedroom/office and fire nook are.

Full disclosure! Most furnishings are provided. TV/media cabinet, desk, dresser, vanity with mirror, glider chair. At the moment I can offer a queen sized air mattress - I don’t have a full guest bed. I have some things in one of the two master bedroom cedar closets, but I may remove them. We can discuss.

I am a wfh librarian, late shift on the phone. My favorite thing to do is to walk under trees. I am very friendly but also appreciate solo quiet time. Well, almost solo. My chill orange boy cat is a great companion.
