Hi! My name is Brooke and I’m a teacher. I don’t have a specific place yet. I am looking for 2 bedrooms around $2,000/mo. (total) in Staten Island, NY. The apartment will be cozy, clean, and beautiful. I’m an artist (hobby), so the common area will always be beautifully decorated. Your touch in that space is welcome as well :) About my hometown: Staten Island is called “the borough of parks,” so you can expect to be close to many different parks (large and small). We also have a public beach and lovely preserved beach areas with natural germination that are lovely to see! There are many coffee shops now throughout the island. Public transportation access will be close, as I take the bus to work. Finally, I have a lovely, fluffy emotional support cat who’s actually hypoallergenic (her name is Bubba). She’s a great addition to the coziness!

As I said, it’s just myself and Bubba (cat). I’m a musician, so hearing me sing will be normal (though never before 9am or after 9pm). I clean regularly, though I don’t “micro clean” too often. An agreed-upon schedule can help us work that out. I enjoy baking and cooking and you are welcome to fully use the kitchen at your leisure. If conflicts arise, we can create a schedule for that too! Just don’t be mad if I offer you a homemade muffin ;) I occasionally host a few friends (think 4, including me) for a Bible study in the living room. It would not be every week and would occur on a weeknight, usually, for about 2 hours between 6pm and 9:30pm. Overall, my friends would describe me as a homebody (when I’m not at work), someone who deeply enjoys creating a feeling of “home” for others, very friendly and caring, someone who always creates and loves to laugh.
