The room: The room footprint measures: 10’ x 11’ It has a loft measuring 67“ wide x 11’ long with skylight above the bed and easy access staircase. That makes the room size 170 ft² of usable space. It comes fully furnished incl Queen size bed in the loft. Has a built-in closet with curtain, shelves and cubbies under the staircase, its own Wi-Fi controlled thermostat for individually controllable Heat. Storage for bigger items (bike, …) in shed available.

The deal: $750/month long term (4 months +) or $300/week short term (1 week minimum). Included: heat, electricity, water, Wi-Fi, ample parking, laundry, some food. The whole house (minus my room) can be fully used and lived in. Trash costs we split. Shared chores: cleaning with monthly rotating cleaning plan, minimal snow shoveling, trash/recycling runs to dump. I will plow the driveway. Guests are welcome.

The house: Still a work in progress. 1500ft², 2 bedrooms upstairs (one me, one unoccupied) and one downstairs (you), one bath with extra large tub and walk-in shower, huge living room, huge kitchen, indoor 4 person sauna, downstairs radiant floor heat, intermittently usable outside pool table, huge beautiful backyard with natural stone patio, fire pit, garden beds, on 7 acres in the middle of the Guilford woods yet only 6 min drive to exit 1 of I-91 (4 miles to co-op). No visible neighbors, total privacy. The road and driveway are steep and crazy at times (winter). four-wheel drive advised or good winter tires on two-wheel drive. I drive my Corolla 99% of the time. Toilet usability is currently limited to liquid waste only. But a heated outhouse 50ft away is there for everything else. The septic system will be installed in August so everything is fully functioning by then. There is a camper 260 ft away from the house on my property that will have regular guests. But they have their own zone and won’t be in our space.

About me: I’m a 38 old male, extrovert, positive, curious and open minded and politically left. I always try to engage in open and direct communication, love board and yard games, always down for fun and active things. I’m travelling a lot at times, which depends on the year. I have a girlfriend who occasionally will sleep over. I throw a couple dance parties every year. But don’t be confused, this is not a party house. I drink little alcohol and don’t do drugs. Healthy and active lifestyle but also love to chill at home, have Sunday-sauna-spa days and watch a good movie on the couch. I spend most of my time on the property working on the house and other improvements and having fun in the afternoons and evenings out and about with friends. Maybe once a week I’ll have friends over for a barbecue session in the summer or sauna in the winter or a game night.
