About the room
Super nice, updated apartment with a really cozy, homey feel. Living area is fully furnished and actually feels like a place you want to live, not just crash in.
Location is elite. Close to Union Square and only a 4-minute walk to the Gilman Square T stop. Only a 5-minute walk to Market Basket (where you get more for your dollar 🤑). The Community Path is also nearby with direct access to Davis Square and Lechmere, which is clutch if you’re into running, biking, or just being outside. Only a 5-10 minute drive to i93 if you need to drive to work!
The place is around 1,000 sq ft so it’s genuinely spacious. Bedrooms are on opposite sides of the apartment, which is great for privacy. Generously sized bedrooms, huge kitchen with plenty of room to cook, and an amazing large deck that’s perfect in the summer. Free storage unit in the basement, coin laundry on site, street parking readily available and awesome neighbors all around. Just an all-around great and special spot.
About the roomies
Hi y’all my name is Jared (26M), and I’m looking for a roommate (ideally someone in their 20s or 30s) to take over my current roommate’s room in Somerville for a July 1st move-in. Lease would run until June 30th, 2027.
About me: I have worked in a lot of different industries from tech, to politics, to consulting. I currently am working in tech and work from home. I also have a very sweet and easy-going dog named Ori! I enjoy going to the gym, going for walks and runs, riding my bike, checking out cool bars and coffee shops and going out! I love music and collect vinyls. I also love a night-in watching TV and couch rotting or staying up late pondering the meaning of life 😆 I am a super, super clean person. Always sweeping and wiping surfaces down and cleaning, so no need to worry about dog hair😊 Most important of all: I am an outgoing and friendly person who always goes above and beyond to make others feel comfortable and included.
Looking for: I’m looking for a kind, clean, and easy going roommate who is open to also being friends. I like being friends with the people I live with (I think it makes living more comfortable) and am committed to good vibes and always want there to be open communication if something feels off. Good and direct communication are a must for me. Also must LOVE dogs. Would be ideal if you are already Boston-based, so we can meet in person to see if we would be a good match.
