This listing is for two separate upstairs, medium-sized, unfurnished bedrooms in a beautiful, respectful 4-bedroom townhome. One is available Jan 1st and the other is available the following month on Feb 1st, possibly sooner. We don’t have much storage space for anybody moving with furniture or large items that cannot fit upstairs in your room. The room is 10 X 13ft and will share a bathroom with two other clean gentlemen. There is a $250 deposit for the room in case of any damages while renting. We are not allowing any more dogs at this time but a cat or small animal kept in your room is okay. Utilities fluctuate between $30-$150 each depending on how much water, gas, and electricity we use. There is such a big window because the water and trash bills are lumped into two separate bi-monthly bills so we only pay them every other month. The months we don’t pay it’s a lot cheaper since those bills are out. We pay for internet and share different tv/movie subscriptions as well. We have two refrigerators so there’s plenty of space for food. This is where the cheaper months come in, we only have to pay internet and gas/electric. We pay $54 for the internet so that’s $13.50 total plus gas/electric which I’ve seen as low as $17 each and as high as $75 each during hotter months which comes out to being as low as thirty bucks each for utilities some months. Other months where it’s hot and we run the a/c, it can all fall on the same month where we have a high gas/electric bill, a water bill, trash bill, and an internet bill. These months can be as high as $130-$140 each for utilities in addition to rent. Pretty cheap for the area, honestly. The cabinet storage is pretty limited for food so we try to stay as organized as possible. Since we all share the kitchen utensils and we’ve had issues with people losing items or things breaking without anybody replacing it. I advise tenants to keep their kitchen supplies in storage unless they are cheap and do not mind losing them. We have invested in a basic set of simple and cheap kitchen utensils for community use though. We do have room for some storage and under the stairs but not much more room than several boxes. The neighborhood is generally pretty quiet and we live in an HOA so there are certain times we have to move our cars and we have to keep the outside of the house and driveway clean. We’re all adults here and very clean so we’re looking for someone of a similar lifestyle. Someone that doesn’t leave a trail of crumbs or wrappers behind them in the kitchen. We are looking for someone that is okay with cleaning and wiping up after you’re finished using something. That doesn’t mind handwashing their dishes right after eating, we don’t leave dirty dishes laying around. If that’s an issue, please keep looking. I have these terms listed in detail in your co-tenant agreement that everyone has signed in order to move in and if you do not follow these agreements I will have to ask you to leave if not evict you per our agreement. We have a huge couch and a big TV we like to hang out and watch movies on if you’re into that though.

I am a quiet, courteous, mature, laidback individual. I live here with 2 other roommates (all professionals) and a small dog. All are close like friends, but we do live separate lives. The atmosphere is peaceful and considerate: no drama. I am under a month to month lease and the other tenants are under a co-tenant agreement and month to month lease with me. Tenants pay rent and utilities directly to me and I pay the landlord/utility companies. I will be doing a background check on any new tenants as part of the application process, anybody with felonies or histories of drug use will not be accepted. There will be a $40 fee for the background check that is paid by the tenant as part of the application process. Overnight guests are allowed so long as they don’t slowly start to move in and use the rest of the house at their leisure. Trust, you won’t be able to hide stuff like that living here. We are okay with friends coming around so long as you either introduce them and we all hang out as a group or you stay in your room mainly and let us know when a guest is over. We have to feel comfortable with the strangers you bring around just the same as us making you feel comfortable. We have a grill and a small fire pit in our back patio that we use a lot. Communication is all it takes. We are 420 friendly in your room mainly and have ashtrays for cigarettes outback. We are looking for someone quiet, clean, and considerate. Living with three other people can take adjusting so we are looking for someone willing to be flexible and considerate of the other people in the house. Every expectation is written out pretty clearly in the co-tenant agreement and I stick to it pretty closely so if anything on here doesn’t sound ideal please move on because we are looking for someone that is completely comfortable in this type of living situation. A clean, professional, quiet, working adult would be preferred.
