A secondary bedroom will be available in a 4th-floor, 2-bedroom loft apartment located in downtown Gaithersburg, MD. The room includes a dedicated bathroom that is accessible from both the bedroom and the hallway and is currently treated as the bedroom occupant’s private bathroom. The apartment is across the street from an elementary school and within walking distance of select local shops. Multiple grocery stores and shopping plazas are a short drive away. There is also a conveniently located gas station directly across the street that is often cheaper than nearby options. We are seeking a roommate who values a calm, respectful, and predictable home environment. This is a neurodivergent-friendly household that prioritizes clear communication, emotional independence, and mutual consideration. We’re friendly and respectful, but we don’t expect roommates to socialize regularly at home—everyone maintains their own routines and support systems. You’ll be living with me, my boyfriend Luke, and Wheezy (our husky). We’re both working professionals—Luke is a leasing consultant and I’m an HR Generalist—and we tend to use our downtime to relax at home with Wheezy. We value kindness, cooperation, and clear communication. We enjoy anime, music, gaming, and a variety of other hobbies, but we also appreciate having our own routines and personal time. While we’re friendly and open to getting to know our roommate naturally, we don’t expect constant socializing at home. This would be a great fit for someone who enjoys a peaceful environment, communicates directly, and appreciates a shared space where expectations are clear and respected.
