What I offer is cheap stable housing on a micro ranch in a private mini forest with a goat herd and aviary, an oasis from the Democrat/Republican paradigm. I produce milk and eggs at a loss and am in dire need of your financial and personal assistance to continue. I am centrally located between Boise, Kuna, and Meridian.

Some minor regular help is needed; this is a unique political housing opportunity from the 2002 primary winning Libertarian gubernatorial candidate. We rent out two rooms of this three bedroom house; both are available. The second room is $ 500.

This is not just a rental, it’s a lifestyle. I’m looking to team up with other like minded individuals, who are interested in living apart from the status quo, together we are stronger.

Summary

Because we do live in a dysfunctional state worshiping Orwellian surveillance misandristic and apathetic society, I exist under government siege and effective house arrest, and do not have a lot of leeway on who I can rent to. I only ask for a small compensation for my space in order to allow me to survive and help with tasks too difficult or dangerous for me to do or do alone. I ask that you don’t place me in danger nor compromise the security of this property. I realize, as an Internally Displaced Person, allies and sympathizers are few.

Offer

My offerings are humble, I am overworked and in serious need of a maid, I offer cheap lodging near Boise but beyond its city limits. I owe nothing to this society and stand opposed to it. This society has subjected me to deprivation, so I offer my space for rent in desperation to assuage my plight. Without the property of my late grandfather and financial support of my disabled wife I would have absolutely nothing. I didn’t set the cost of real estate, legal services, and medicine nor the low wages and lack of economic opportunity. If I had greater space and more bathrooms I could offer even cheaper rent to more people but I don’t so I can’t.

Help and Cost

Because my wife can not stand unassisted and I can not leave the property, we want someone who wants to be here and help with animal care and wheelchair transport. Need first, last, and dep. Base deposit is $ 450. Additional pet deposit is $300 for small animal and $500 for a large dog. Requested help is about five hours per month. I will compensate at $10 per hour off the next month’s rent for any requested help which goes over 5 hours. If you want to offer more work to help out, I have more, but I can’t afford more than 10 extra hours per month and only if both rooms are filled. Credit will be given for work requested and done but not for promised future work.

About the Property

We have been routed to my late grandfather’s dilapidated estate for mere survival. This property is heavily timbered. My grandfather has been the only owner of this property since this house was built in 1975, and planted all of the flora, including a tree my late grandmother named after me. I added most of the fauna, and have been in control of this property since 2012, after my grandmother’s passing at the behest of my grandfather. Most of the trees are only slightly younger than me.

Number of People

This is only a three bedroom single bath home, therefore I’m looking for two additional people, that’s four persons total, as anything greater would be too much for the single bathroom. At some future point I would like to add another bathroom, or at least a half bath. The lowest cost of doing so, that I have been quoted, is eight grand.

Utility Cost

Utilities are not included in rent because utility use varies between roommates. Utilities typically run between $ 60 - $ 80; water and trash are not billed monthly but are sometimes billed in the same month. Water is billed every two months, trash is every three. Rent is due by the 5th, utilities by the 10th. Non-wifi cable internet is available at a charge of $ 30 per month.

Children

While I love children and my grandson visits often, this is not a child friendly environment as I have unaltered billy goats and muscovy ducks (which have talons), sorry.

Probation/Parole

If you are on probation or parole, I can not rent to you unless you obtain an abjuration with respect to this property from your PO. It doesn’t matter why you are on probation/parole; it is the fact of being on probation/parole that creates a kerfuffle. I have no ability to get around this requirement, my life depends on it. Also, this is not a document they are likely to give out; you’ll need to have a conversation with them to ascertain whether this is even possible in your case. Please obtain this abjuration from your PO before reaching out to me, because I can not proceed at all with you until you have it. (They will know to whom and which property this is if you simply give them my name.) They have a legal obligation to assist with finding housing but they are tyrants and ignore their obligations regularly.

Background Check/Additional Adult Cost

I do not charge an application fee; however we do a background check at no cost to you, looking for evictions and crimes of violence and/or theft as well as probation/parole status. Drugs/drinking/driving issues don’t matter to us. My driver’s license was invalidated on me, and I’m not going to judge you for issues even I’m guilty of; I try to not be a hypocrite. Also, my price is single occupancy, 50% upcharge per additional adult, background check will be needed on all adults.

Political Risk

I am in legal limbo, unable to proceed without great peril, but the risk to prospective roommates is negligible. This status quo has been in existence and unchanged for nearly a decade and isn’t likely to change. As the sitting regime is currenting satisfied that I am effective silenced by being kicked off facebook without explanation and being subject to arrest if I am found in public. It is my wife and liaison’s opinion that the threats being leveled against me are nothing short of being chemically lobotomized and disappeared. I am only a mere chess piece, my eldest daughter is my agent who handles any roommate conflicts, my wife is my power of attorney, my mother is the personal representative of my late grandfather’s estate; I have a liaison who speaks to the sheriff for me and an attorney whose job it is to keep me from being assassinated by the sitting regime (He is not my criminal defense attorney, as I have none, a clear violation of my sixth amendment rights).

Price is Negotiable

I am highly motivated to get these rooms filled as I need the money; one has been empty since last Halloween and the other since the beginning of February. The second half of last year’s property taxes are due by June 20th.

If I am unable to rent these rooms in short order, I am faced with a range of bad choices: first taking the larger room off the market and closing out my storage unit; second giving away my livestock; and third having this property taking by the county on a tax deed and becoming homeless.

On the other hand, having one room rented will feed my animals, pay for storage, and pay for taxes. Having both rooms rented will give me some more flexibility on price, allow me to compensate a maid, and allow me to make repairs and upgrades over time.

Comparable rooms without the dilapidation and requested help run $ 700 a month.

As far as proactive, I’ve tried. As of the thirteen of May, I sent out over a hundred messages, got only a handful of replies and only thirteen inquiries outside of my inquiries, most wanting an exception on the abjuration requirement and a few wanting to move in without a deposit and full month’s rent. So this isn’t working, years ago with a cheap price and an ad in the Idaho Statesman I always filled a room within a week. Instead I got blocked by a 45 year old senior care nanny for my inquiry. I’ve been listed here since December and on craigslist since Halloween.

Last month is required upfront because many people don’t give the required 30 day notice when moving out.

A security deposit is required because many people don’t pay last month’s utilities, damage the place, fail to return all the keys, and/or leave the place a mess including abandoning mattresses and other large furnishings which I have to remove and pay to have disposed.

I charge a pet deposit because dogs have caused major damage especially to my carpets.

I am the real deal, my name is googleable, I try to be as laissez faire as I can.

I am a once, and still, married Libertarian grandfather with three adult children. I am not a hermit by choice. I ran for pubic office thrice and my wife once. My wife is disabled due to injuries received at the hands of the Boise City Police. Luckily this property lies just outside of their jurisdiction.

We enjoy our farm life environment. I raise waterfowl (ducks and geese), goats, bunnies, and non-regurgitating birds (quail and pheasants). I produce milk, eggs, and meat.

I have some political connections as well, most within not without(in dire need of such), and am always looking for more. I do personally know one of the county commissioners and another is a co patriot’s father.

We are also gamers. We play guild wars, a game my late father gave us as an anniversary gift to play online with him, and we still play it online with our oldest daughter. We have played and will play Minecraft, Civ 2, Age of Empires, board games, and card games as well.

We enjoy streaming shows and music. Sometimes the quail sing along. We love science fiction and historic documentaries. We are politically aware and religiously tolerant. I am both curious and superstitious of other views.

My late father became a woman shortly before he passed. I remained close and understand his reasons. I consider myself trans tolerant. I also participated in the Highland Games to connect to my masculinity and am good with being a man and heterosexual.

I am 55, my wife is 51. We’ve been married since June of 1994.
