My partner and I are renting two spare rooms in our house in Kenton. We are within walking distance from two great parks, Kenton and Columbia. Bus lines and the yellow max line are closeby as well. We have two cats and one dog, so we’re hesitant to welcome more animals into the home.
This listing is for the larger room with a window facing the backyard. It’s partially furnished.(All furniture can be removed, if you’d prefer unfurnished.) The hall bathroom would be shared between the two rooms we’re renting. There is also a half bathroom on the main floor available to everyone in the house. You would also have access to our laundry room and common spaces pictured in this post. The bills are included except for water, which is split equally quarterly.
The room is currently rented but our roommate is moving out in June. We require one month’s rent as a security deposit.
Non-smoker is required, 420 outside is fine. LGBTQIA friendly is a requirement. Queer and/or female preferred. Feel free to message us for more information and we can schedule a tour to see if it’s a good fit.
Our names are Ember and Alexandra. We have two cats, Hemingway and Freya, and one dog, Ambrose. We are looking for roommates, because Alexandra is out of the country indefinitely, so Ember will be the main roommate for the foreseeable future.
Ember (38) - I am a nanny and woodburn artist. I am non-binary, pronouns she/they. I love nature, especially mushrooms, as you will see throughout the house. I love hiking with Ambrose on days off or chilling at home watching tv or working on my art. I am an extroverted introvert, so I enjoy socializing but definitely like to recharge alone. I think open communication and clear boundaries are a must. Common spaces being fairly quiet and tidy is important to me as well.
Alexandra (33) - I’m originally from Greece and working on permanent residency. When at home I like relaxing with shows or video games. I love puzzling and board games. Outside, I enjoy going on walks in nature. I’m also a huge animal lover so you will often see me hanging out with pets. When it comes to house stuff, I thrive in a clean and tidy space, so it’s important that our roommates will share this mindset.
