Two bedroom, two bath 1040 sqft apartment on the 4th floor (top floor). The apartment is North facing looking out over trees and a neighborhood. Open floor plan with a balcony off the living room. The bedrooms are situated on opposite sides of the apartment from each other. The apartment is very quiet, ideal for someone who works from home or just enjoys a quiet living space. The room comes with it’s own bathroom, however, that bathroom is also for use by visitors when needed (which is not often). The apartment complex is made up of immigrant and working class people. Lots of families with children. The grounds have a pool, volleyball court, barbecue area, and dog park. The building has shared laundry rooms on every level, an exercise room, a trash chute, and an elevator. The second floor has vending machines. The exercise room has weights, ellipticals, stationary bikes, and a recumbent bike. The exercise room is accessible 24 hours a day. The apartment complex is located in Burnsville. Apple Valley, Eagan, Savage, and Bloomington are all within a 10 minute drive. There is a small park that is next to the complex for picnics or enjoyment of a nice day. Management is on site but in a different building. Rent of the room includes water, heat, gas, trash, sewer, air conditioning, electricity, and Xfinity internet. There is a free street level parking lot available and underground parking for an additional $50 a month. The room and bathroom come unfurnished, so feel free to set them up however you would like.

I am a single female who has a senior dog and a 17 month old cat. Whoever wants to rent the room must be okay with both my dog and cat as my life is centered around them. I am looking for a non-smoker as well. Monday through Friday I work long hours outside of my home. On the weekends, I am a home body doing chores or I’m out running errands. During the week I am usually up between 6 and 7 (Thursdays I’m up at 5) and on the weekends I like to sleep in a bit. My usual bedtime is between 10 and 11, and I tend to stay up a bit later on the weekends. I’m in my 50’s and have only been in Minnesota for about 20 months. I have one cousin that will come by two, maybe three, times a year and I have made a few acquaintances in my apartment building. Other than that, I’m pretty solitary and stick to myself. Even though I have a full-time job, I’m making less money than I used to, and I need somebody to help split the bills. I am clean and neat and would expect a potential renter to be as well. I don’t blast loud music or TVs, or throw parties, and I do weekly cleaning. A room renter will be required to help keep the common area and kitchen clean. I don’t have cable because TV doesn’t mean enough to me to pay for it and my TV is too old to stream. I do have unlimited data internet through Xfinity, so if you stream TV at all you will be able to. If you want cable specifically, you’ll have to figure that out on your own.
