Room for Rent $900 1 private bedroom with private bathroom in a 4 bedroom, 4.5 bath house. 3 roommates. No couples. Single occupancy room.

We are in a large house in old mystic right off 184. It’s a very safe location. 5 mins from downtown mystic but out of the way of any tourist traffic, 22 mins to Mohegan 15 min to Foxwoods, 10 mins to Groton and 20 mins to westerly beaches. We have a large kitchen with an island, brand new stainless steel sink, laundry machines in the house, dish washer, we have a large living room with plenty of comfy seating we sometimes have game nights in, we also have a family room with a pool table and more comfy seating and a bar. A half bathroom in the shared living space. Large back yard, with a picnic table, fire pit and bbq. Plenty of parking.

The bedroom has 2 huge windows for lots of natural light, French double doors, crown molding a deep closet with 2 bars to hang clothes with built in shelves in the back, private en-suite full bathroom with a large shower with built in seats, and a window in the bathroom as well. Bedroom is 162 sq feet plus the bathroom and closet. Beautiful dark green tile flooring. Freshly painted last summer white walls.

All the windows come with flat slat white wooden blinds, large mirror over the sink, ample hot water, central AC and baseboard heating in both room and bathroom and throughout the house. We also have lots of fans and window shades to help keep the house cool in the summer and the electric bill lower.

Electric is separate but split between 4. Heat is included by landlord. Trash included. Wi-Fi available . The shared living spaces are furnished the bedroom is unfurnished. Our neighbors are great. And in the warm seasons we have wild bunnies in the yard.

About the roomies: Roomies are 1 female age 35, 1 male age 31 and 1 male age 34. We’re all respectful and considerate of others, good communication, pretty chill people.

Vibe: We all like to hang out when we have time. We all work a lot and work odd hours however we are very respectful and considerate of everyone in the house. We all pitch in to keep the house clean. The vibe is kind of like “new girl” or “friends”. We also sometimes cook together and have a summer party we invite all our friends to come together for a bbq. Most evenings are quiet, but occasionally like to have social gatherings to play pool or game nights with friends. Many general house items are shared.

Who we’re looking for: We are looking for someone reliable and friendly that gets along well with everyone in the house, who is mature and considerate and also likes to be social with the roomies. Someone who is good with quiet evenings and down for social gatherings occasionally as well.

All individuals of any race, religion, sexuality, gender are welcome.

Pets: Ours: We do have a dog in the house but she lives in the apartment downstairs however she does make regular appearances in the main part of the house she is a professionally trained working dog and very well behaved, doesn’t usually bark much, and is very loving. We also have a cat she mainly stays in her room but often ventures into the main house too. Yours: 1 cat is allowed but no other dogs. Cat Must be spayed/neutered and have all of its vaccines with proof documentation before move in. No exotic, reptiles, insects or spiders as pets. 1 Cat or fish tank is allowed. Fish tank must be in your room. -Tenant must be ok with our pets if you are severely allergic to cats or dogs I do not recommend here as our pets love people.

House rules:

• Quiet hours for property 10pm-10am (we still send a text to the house group chat if we want to play loud music to be considerate even during the day)
• Trash goes out to curb on Wed night.
• Be respectful to others belongings (we share a lot of household items)
• Always have your house keys with you if you leave and lock the door
• Clean up after yourself and any guests you have
• Guests are welcome but must be respectful and considerate of roomies and house. If anyone is visiting overnight please let the group chat know so they aren’t startled running into a stranger late at night/morning.
• If you have a pet it must be properly taken care of and litter box trained
• Must have own vehicle and drivers license
• Must have steady reliable income (with proof of income)
• No excessive drinking (socially and responsibly is fine)
• No hard drugs (marijuana is fine as it’s legal but must be bought legally)
• Must have a clean criminal record (as in no arrests or warrants. minor traffic tickets etc are fine)
• Be considerate of everyone in the house and the upstairs neighbors
