Quiet single roommate wanted to share my country house in Epsom: responsible, steady employment income, reasonably clean and tidy. NO heavy drinking or loud music. No drama or drugs, please (420 ok). Respectful of privacy and property, no parties or overnight guests (can be discussed), Non-smoking preferred, but outside is okay. 15 minutes to Concord, and about half an hour to Manchester, Durham/Dover, etc.

Very large first floor room (14x18) with French doors. Shared kitchen and bath. My house is open-concept in a naturalistic wooded setting. I have quiet neighbors, and I am one as well.

I have several acres open all the way to Bear Brook State Park, and the Suncook River and Northwood lakes are minutes away. Vintage furnishings, antique dishes, lots of books, lots of wood. My house is not conventional, but is comfortable and tranquil. I’m looking for someone contented, peaceful, considerate, and clean. I prefer long-term but am open to other possibilities.

FURNISHED room with a double bed, dresser, small secretary desk, wing chair, a roomy closet and a large cabinet with shelving for your things and food storage (see photos). Large (12x12) shared bath. Off street parking for one personal vehicle; we can discuss others (for instance, a motorcycle).

Pets will be considered: almost all are welcome as long as they are quiet, friendly and housebroken and fit into the household well, NOT noisy, mean or dangerous. (And sorry, but sadly due to house insurance there are breed restrictions).

References and roommate agreement required, $300 security deposit. Rent is $200/wk paid WEEKLY, and includes all utilities, high speed internet and basic cable, shared use of kitchen, laundry and downstairs refrigerator.

Please be clean, tidy, respectful of others and willing to share in house stuff as needed, including moving snow.

Me, the homeowner, retired and work parttime, lots of interests including books, movies, fishing, camping, quilting, painting, and napping. And currently one other roommate in the basement room with 2 dogs, so no more dogs at this time.
