The room is a private corner in our basement with its own full bathroom (including shower). Retractable queen size bed (with gel/foam mattress) folds into a cabinet for maximum room space and use. Night stands and shelves provide lots of storage. A private fridge sits right outside the room, along with a private walk in closet. Communal living, meaning we would share use of the kitchen, take turns taking out the garbage, etc. Shared laundry (we have 2 washers and 2 dryers) included in the rent. All utilities, WiFi, and street parking also included. Near midway airport/red line. Home is in oak lawn.

We are a blended family of 5 children under the age of 13, my wife and I. 2 dogs and a cat. Sometimes we have all the kids and sometimes we have no kids. At times, when all the kids are with us (every other weekend), it can be active upstairs. When kids are not with us obviously it’s much more tame and many times my wife and I are not even home those weekends. In the spring and summer time, even on kids weekends, we are gone most the weekend. So there would be many times you’d have the full home to yourself. And regardless it’s always quiet in the basement. If you are looking for a good family to home share with- we are it. We are your typical middle class family simply seeking to rent extra space in our home.
