About the room
We have a spacious private room available in a stylish 3-bedroom 2 bath Victorian duplex. This room is rarely on- market- it is approximately 170 square feet and is completely furnished with full size bed, desk and 40β LED television. The apartment is a very large, modernized Victorian style duplex. It is 1750 square feet of space with 10-foot-high ceilings and has either hard wood floors, porcelain tiles or Berber carpet.
The rental price above is for a private, secure room, all base utilities and wireless internet (Wi-Fi).
Amenities include: Modern central heating and air / humidifier throughout the apartment (and individual rooms) plus ceiling fans all in the bedrooms, the lounge and dining room for air circulation
A full-service laundry center inside the unit
High Speed internet (1 GIG)
Large kitchen/ butler pantry with stainless steel appliances and maple cabinets (including dishwasher)
Covered outdoor patio area with seating and grill equipment (one is propane, other charcoal)
Parking We also have secure, off-street parking available, access via remote-operated automatic gate
About the roomies
The Community This is an actively managed property that is part of an enclosed shared housing complex. As this is community-structured housing we do not allow pets, smoking or room sharing.
Location Location-wise, the apartment is about a half mile west of USC main campus and quite literally surrounded by several Tripalink buildings. So, we do attract a fair share of USC students and staff members. Currently, the other two rooms in this unit are rented by USC graduate students.
However, because of our proximity to Mid-Wilshire, Downtown Los Angeles, and the Culver City business districts we also get an interesting mix of young professional and international interns.
The complex is centrally located near an Expo line station and is within minutes of Downtown Los Angeles, USC, Mount St. Maryβs, FIDM, the Wilshire corridor and Southwestern Law.
