Upstairs neighbors are early-30s professionals with cats. You’ll hear normal “people existing above you” sounds but nothing too aggressive. Definitely some questionable “what the heck are they doing up there” moments but that’s any unit on the first floor lmao.

🚽 Bathroom Details (IMPORTANT AND SLIGHTLY WEIRD)

• While there are two bathrooms, there is only ONE shower in the apartment, and it is inside your bedroom. So occasionally I will need to walk a few steps in and out of your room to shower.

Some notes:

• I’m looking for a friend as much as a roommate, so we would not be strangers by the time you move in!
• Since the shower is in your room, you’ll have 24/7 access to it, while I’ll be mindful about when I time my showers. You probably won’t even be home when I tend to shower, since I work remotely and can shower at any time.

Former high school science teacher, now working remotely in edtech sales. So my days mostly consist of Zoom calls and explaining things clearly for a living.

Quick values note: I’m fairly liberal and believe all people deserve rights, healthcare, and basic respect. Looking for a roommate who isn’t actively opposed to or “neutral” those things.

Predictable weekday schedule:

• M–F work 8-4ish
• Dinner around 5 or 6
• In bed around 10 like a responsible elderly zillennial

I like game nights, trivia, video games, rec sports, and hosting occasionally. I value clean shared spaces (generally clean- not spotless), direct communication that always assumes positive intent, mutual respect, and fair (and sometimes funny) compromise. I also love to laugh and try not to take anything too seriously. I’m easygoing but not passive aggressive. If something’s weird, I’ll wait until I know it’s a pattern and not just a one-off thing and then talk to you about it and move on.
