About the room
Private room in 2 bedroom apartment in South Park Hill area. Room has a keyed entry, window A/C unit, heater, and furnished with a bed and small desk. (Can be unfurnished by request.) Bathroom, living room, and kitchen are shared spaces. Kitchen is small so I’ve added a kitchenette to this room: brand new mini-fridge, brand new toaster oven, and coffee maker.
This space is best for a single person. Responsible students or artists would be a good fit. The apartment building is very old, full of character, but not fancy. On the up-side, all my neighbors are friendly, laid-back and non-judgemental. If you’re looking for a temporary place to stay where you won’t be judged or bombarded with rules, this is it. Free parking behind building & off-street parking. Laundry in basement. 2 minute walk to bus stop (route 15/15L) on E Colfax. 10 min drive or 30 min bike ride downtown. (It takes me 20 min on my e-bike)
Bedroom is available month-to-month, or weekly. Message me if you have questions about pets. I’ve had several inquiries about this room, so please upload a picture of yourself to be considered. Move-in now for $900 or reserve it for $150!
About the roomies
I’m the only other person in the unit, along with my two cats, who spend most of their time in my bedroom. As much as I love dogs, (these are the first cats I’ve ever adopted) I’m not comfortable having one in here with my cats, sorry. The younger one is extremely skittish and scares easily.
I work full time at the Denver Public Library and I’m a graduate student at CU- Denver (but currently on hiatus due to lack of funds). I’m also a musician/artist, extremely open-minded and trans friendly. My home is a safe space. I’m mostly quiet but I can be social sometimes or when I have friends in town, which is very rare. I listen to music a lot, but I have a good pair of headphones too. I believe honest communication is key to a comfortable living arrangement. I am respectful, clean, and do not get in people’s business. I respect privacy above all.
