We’ve got one bedroom opening up in a cozy mountain home just a short drive from Boulder. The house has plenty of space with a big kitchen, comfy living room with fireplaces, wraparound decks, and awesome views of the woods and wildlife. The three rooms share two full bathrooms (one of which is a sauna), and everyone has access to the common areas, plus laundry and parking on site. Utilities are included, so no extra bills to worry about. It’s super peaceful and feels like a retreat, but you’re still close enough to town for groceries, restaurants, and everything Boulder has to offer. The new roommate will get a share of the built-in bookshelves. The house itself is fully furnished and decorated.

The room has five skylights and several built-in shelves.

Pets will be considered on a case by case basis.

You’d be living with me (29) and my roommate Amber (28). I work up at Eldora, so my winters are all about being on the mountain. I’m big on reading, gardening, skiing, and enjoying time outside — plus I love the occasional girlie pop wine and movie night. I’m also in school, so I intended to have lots of Park And Grind by the fireplace type of nights. I have a 6.5lb dog, so if you have pets, they need to be good with small animals. Amber is a therapist and a wonderful human being.

We’re looking for someone who values a calm, respectful, and communicative home environment. Our household tends to run on fluctuating work schedules, including early mornings, long days, and occasional recovery downtime - so we appreciate roommates who are mindful of noise and shared space use. We prioritize direct but kind communication, shared responsibility for cleanliness, and mutual respect for personal boundaries and decompression time. While we enjoy friendly conversation and occasional shared meals or hangs, this is not a party house (though we do have social gatherings). This tends to be a good fit for people who are independent, emotionally mature, and comfortable with a home that balances social warmth with quiet recharge time.
