About the room

The place:

Have a room becoming available in a 2 bed, 2.5 bath condo in downtown Alhambra. You would have the room to yourself, along with the attached full bathroom and walk-in closet. I am in the other room, and the two rooms are on opposing sides of the living area and as such share no walls. Kitchen has all stainless-steel appliances including a gas-stove and dishwasher (I do also have a counter top microwave that is not pictured). Also has a wet bar with a built-in wine rack, which I am currently also using as a coffee bar.

The condo also features a guest bath and laundry (washer & dryer) in unit, and central A/C. Additionally, you would have your own private parking spot in the attached underground garage with secure access to the garage and building.

The condo is in a fairly new mixed-use building (about 5 years old), sitting above or within walking distance of a variety of bars, restaurants, grocery, etc. Inside, it is very modern with marble counter tops, hardwood floors in the kitchen, and carpeted bedrooms.

The common areas have been furnished by me, and your room will be unfurnished after my current roommate moves out.

I have no trouble driving into Pasadena daily, and my current roommate is going to school at the USC medical campus, which is a short trip away as well.

About the roomies

About me:

I am a 23 year old male currently working on grad school. As such, I am gone most of the day during the week, and use my time at home to cook, eat, and otherwise relax or get some work done. Accordingly, I would appreciate a roommate who leads a similar life-style as a student or young professional, and is willing and able to treat the place and all personal belongings with respect (i.e. not leaving the kitchen a mess or damaging any cookware/furniture etc).

I’m not against alcohol or the occasional guest over, but smoking is a no go and in general I like to keep the common areas clean and have a quiet place to relax/sleep or work.

The room will become available around December 14/15, and you will need to be approved by the landlord prior to being able to move in (meaning a routine background/credit check).
