Gracious country living: Trails, greenhouse, stone patio, space for your garden, barn. Covered parking. Hear owls at night. Enjoy birds, deer, chipmunks, views. Bring houseplants, hobbies. Write, read, hike, work, create, heal, and space to build stuff.

Indoor Amenities include: Shared laundry room, pantry, kitchen w/2 refrigerators. Atrium. Several privacy areas in the home and on the grounds.

YOU: Clean, considerate, honest. You can be an introvert or an extrovert and still be welcomed, just be employed or provably financially self-sufficient. People who have rented here before, have shared household chores, shopped on their own, cooked and cleaned on their own. We do not want night shift/day sleepers.

NO: smokers, smoking visitors, dogs, drugs - including marijuana (even though it is legal), guns or hunting items like bows, and no hunting trophies. No inside cats. Outside only cat may be okay. Don’t reply if you have a dog or an inside cat.

Covered parking space. Land has space to stretch out for art or large projects. There is a barn. RV parking. Stall for horse but no fencing. You can plant flowers or gardens.

About 8 miles south of downtown Hillsboro, a short distance up Balk Peak. (Lowest side-street on mountain on Hillsboro side- 300 feet elevation). About 8 miles to any stores and MAX. Quiet with bunches of privacy.

Saying this a second time because some people are surprised. This is rural. We are handy to Hillsboro, Beaverton and Portland. But the very first civilization is 8 miles away.

Owners live in house so some level of compatible personalities will need to exist.
