My previous roommate is moving in with her boyfriend, so I’m looking for someone new to share the place with. The apartment is mostly empty at the moment, which makes it a perfect blank slate for creating a shared living space together. I’m happy to furnish the common areas, but I’m holding off for now in case a new roommate has some pieces or wants to help pick things out.

It’s a 2 bed 2 bath, so you get your own bathroom. The bedroom is about 11 x 10.5 ft and easily fits a queen bed and large dresser.

The unit has a washer and dryer, back patio, wood burning fireplace, and space for a dining table I plan to take advantage of.

The complex also has a gym, free level 2 EV charging, and a seasonal outdoor pool

It’s in Lake Oswego, and just a few minutes from the freeway so it’s short drive to Downtown Portland. There’s also a lot of shops, restaurants, and parks in the area if you’re looking for that.

Friends and overnight guests are totally welcome but I personally go out more than I host. Pets are also very welcome.

My last roommate still has some stuff in her room but it’d be easy to figure something out if you’re looking to move ASAP. Otherwise the room will be ready by October 1st.

Hi, I’m Michael. I’m a gay man in my mid 20s. I work outside of the house Monday to Thursday and split my free time being home or out with friends. I’m studying computer science part time which takes up a lot of my time at home. I also like cooking and love horror movies, so it’d be great to have someone to watch them with. During the weekend I like hanging out with friends, hiking, and going to concerts and clubs. I’m solution-oriented and value open, direct, and kind communication. I think it keeps things lowkey and prevents conflict. I have ADHD, so I do best when I keep a lot of structure for myself around cleaning – but I’m flexible and don’t expect the same rigidness from a roommate. I’d love to live with someone I can get along with as a friend, though I’m easygoing and open to different dynamics.
