Private room available in a four bedroom three bathroom home. This is a cooperative living space where housemates support the needs of two adults with developmental disabilities in their home.

Responsibilities include:

• Support the lives and needs of the individuals
• General house management (shopping, cooking, cleaning, finances)
• Assistance with medical appointments and medication management
• Explore/create new experiences and fun activities
• Collaborate with a team of support and provide training

Requirements:

• Own a reliable car
• A good sense of humor :)
• A good communicator and strong organizational skills

This position offers your own room with ample free time. We encourage people to pursue their own passions and personal endeavors because we believe that self care is an important factor of taking care of others.

Because you will be working where you live, this is not a typical “work” environment. We want someone who is flexible and can go with the flow.
