I have a 4200 square foot house located in the Crowne Hill area of Temecula. Close to wineries and ten minutes from old town and Pechanga. I rent rooms to a few people. I have two rooms available now. One is upstairs with a shared bathroom. It’s $1,000. The other is a partial garage conversion with a loft bed in my small garage. It’s $1,200. By “partial”, I mean it has no bathroom and you have to use the bathroom inside. There are benefits to this room. It’s very large and also has a family room area with an entertainment center and a loveseat. (I only have a pic of the downstairs room because the other ones are currently occupied.)

A few people in their 20’s and 30’s rent rooms from me. All are very nice and friendly and everyone gets along. There is harmony in the household. It’s not unusual to find a game of trivial pursuit or Nintendo switch going on in the family room. We have a monthly poker game and occasional parties and we celebrate all of the holidays. You’d always be welcome to join in or retreat to the privacy of your own room. We are retired attorneys with an office in town, but we work mostly out of the house these days. All things considered, It’s a kind of fun place to live.
