Private Lower-Level Suite for Rent in Quiet, Friendly Neighborhood:

We’re renting out the lower level of our 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home, perfect for someone looking for a peaceful and semi private living space. This lower-level suite includes:

1. Your own private entrance.
2. A private bathroom and closet.
3. Access to a screened-in porch.
4. A mini fridge (you’re welcome to bring additional furniture if it fits through the door).
5. Optional furnishing available, we can provide a queen bed and TV for an added monthly fee.
6. Parking spot available
7. Utilities included: water, electricity, A/C, and heating.

The space is connected to the main level by stairs and doors, but our goal is to keep things separate and respect each other’s privacy. That said, if you’re someone who’s open to occasionally sharing the upstairs kitchen, we’re happy to discuss what that could look like.

We live in a really nice, quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors, so we’re looking for someone who is respectful, clean, and values a calm home environment.

A little about us: I’m a dad to two awesome boys; a 13 year old and a 6 year old, both full of energy and genuinely good kids. I work at a college university, run my own nonprofit, and coach my sons’ sports teams on the side. Life is busy but full of joy.

My fiancé recently moved a few hours away, so I travel to see her when I can, though it’s not too often. Most of the time, I keep to myself and stay focused on work or spending quality time with my boys playing outside, going on adventures, or just enjoying life together.

We’re looking for someone who’s kid friendly and understanding that, while we’re respectful, you may occasionally hear the sounds of two boys being boys. Ideally, you’re someone laid back, clean, and open to a warm, community-like atmosphere. If you’re open to being invited to hang out now and then, even better. And if you have a child, that’s totally fine with us we welcome it.
