The rooms: $700 is the smaller one, $800 one has more closet space and is larger. $500 refundable deposit required. Upstairs living is unused as I use the downstairs living space. Both rooms for rent would share a bathroom (large and 2 sinks) while my niece and I share the other one. Quiet, secluded feel with plenty of outdoor space - great for gardening and bird watching. Two-car garage, two basements, and a wood shed means storage is never an issue. Close to transit with easy access to I-205, just 5min from Clackamas Town Center, 5min from downtown Milwaukie. 15min to PDX and downtown (without traffic, of course). A new bike path is almost complete connecting us to the Springwater Corridor and downtown. You’ll be sharing the space with a laid back 41F teacher/coach who travels frequently, her 17-year-old niece (AP student and musician-headphones only practicing with no noise concerns), and handsome 6yr old lab mix who just needs a slow introduction process, and 2 cats- one social butterfly and one you’ll hardly see.
Who would thrive here? This is a great fit for a quiet, mature professional who loves animals but doesn’t have their own. Financial reliability and keeping the common areas tidy are the two big priorities.
