About the room

Home is a recently renovated rental home, with easy access to MLK Jr Blvd and US71, to easily get anywhere in the area. The home is a 3-bedroom, 1 bathroom home, with an unfinished basement. There is a smaller kitchen, with a stove, microwave, refrigerator. No dishwasher or garbage disposal unfortunately. There is a washer and dryer in the unfinished basement. The basement has plenty of ample storage.

Your bedroom is approximately 14 feet by 12 feet in size, with a walk in closet that is approximately 4 feet by 3 feet in size. The bedroom has direct access to the kitchen. The bedroom is on the back side of the house, with multiple East and South facing windows. Plenty of daylight. The room also has multiple outlets for your electronics, and a TV can be mounted to the wall if you desire. It is the largest bedroom in the house, but it has no closet.

The driveway extends down to the backyard, so you can park there, with direct access to two rear entrances of the home. The driveway does have a slightly steep angle, so a lower vehicle or car would have trouble. Can park at the edge/front of the driveway though. A truck or SUV would have no trouble. I take the street parking, and only has room for one vehicle to park in front of the house.

The home is otherwise unfurnished, if you have your own couches or other furniture, you are welcome to bring them.

Rent amount is $700 per month. This covers rent/utilities/internet. $400 security deposit. Rent for the month is due by the 5th of each month.

About the roomies

I am a 42 year old male that is on disability. I previously worked in the IT industry. I am a non-smoker, non-drug user. I am very much the professional geek. I am very much a homebody, but I enjoy being social with my friends back home. I play Dungeons & Dragons with my friends online, and I keep my evenings open, I am additionally a car enthusiast. I have one cat that is my ESA, unfortunately she is not good around other animals, so no additional animals would be allowed. She is very shy, but very sweet once she warms up to you.

I am all about communication. If there is an issue, please talk to me, and I will do my best to adjust/fix/resolve the issue.

I am looking for a roommate that is professional, clean, tidy, and must have proof of income. Non-smoker/Non-drug user. Light drinking is ok.

I am currently the primary tenant on the lease until June of 2026. If you are planning on staying under 6 months, the property management company does not require you to be on the lease. If you plan on staying longer, then you would need to apply, but that can wait until you are closer to the 6 month mark.

My roommate is a 40 year old male, and he primarily keeps to himself. He works from 6am-6pm. He is a gamer and sports fan.

Final note, both my roommate and I do have a felony conviction, and I am almost done finishing my probation. My offense was internet based/non-violent/not substance related. Same with my roommates. May inquire more. That being said, I am open to renting out to someone with a felony conviction, but it would need approval. We all make mistakes, it’s all about trying to better ourselves.
