About the room

My house is a classic colonial built in 1900 and has that was built in 1900.

I am renting my spare bedroom. It is somewhat small as the rooms generally were when this house was built. It is solid nice accommodations, with a current renter and the room becomes available August 1, 2026.

Advantages: Rental The rental price includes: a. my private furnished bedroom b. the main and 1/2 bathroom share
c. Rent includes heat, hot water, utilities, sewer, garbage pickup)

Advantages: Location A definite advantage of my home is it’s location. We are close to I95 and the train station. This bedroom rental is only three blocks from downtown, Bedford street. This is where the main restaurants, festivals, and more happen. We are only minutes from the Macy’s plaza mall, with a movie theater. We are close to Scalzi park, with tennis courts, a baseball field, picnic areas and more. Even more, we are only two blocks from UCONN and Target on Broad street and the movie theater on Summer Street. Also we are down the street from the Ridgeway shopping plaza. Additionally, we are only three blocks from the Mill river park where they have outdoor movies and Main Street and Washington blvd where they have concerts and festivals

The spare bedroom is perfect. And I am looking for a person (upper 30s+) interested in renting only a furnished spare bedroom, with a shared bathroom and limited use of the kitchen.
