Relisting because my dear roommate Simon is moving back home to SoCal in June 🥲 Room is available July 1st.

The apartment is a 2 bed/1 bathroom in a gated complex in the heart of midtown. It’s walking distance to midtown’s most popular bars, restaurants, grocery stores, farmers markets, and parks. There’s central AC, a dishwasher, a back porch, shared laundry, and off-street parking (with a fee). Utilities usually range from $25-$55 per person and Wifi is ~ $20.5 per person.

You’ll be sharing space with me, Randy, my orange cat, Squid, and his cat, a tuxie named Juju. I’m a state worker and currently work from home on a hybrid schedule. I think it’s common courtesy to clean up after myself and my guests in common areas after we use them, and it’s important for my future roommate to share the same sentiment in our space. I don’t expect the place to be spotless btw, just useable and for us to both feel like chore responsibilities are shared fairly. Healthy, respectful, and nonjudgmental communication is key! Being friends with my roommate is a big plus, and I want us to both be able to feel like we can be ourselves and be comfortable around each other. I have this dynamic with my current roommate who I met on roomies and I’m realizing how nice it is to share space with someone who appreciates your energy and presence, and vice versa. More about me: I’m LGBTQ and my hobbies include cycling, going to raves, festivals, breweries, run club, and the climbing gym. I also like to DJ and record my own music with headphones or at a reasonable volume 😇 I love watching sports and supporting my local LA teams and the niners. My cats love people, and it’s important for me to find a roommate that doesn’t mind a cat on their lap. I am also prioritizing looking for a roommate that doesn’t have cats. Might consider a dog and don’t mind other creatures. Thanks for reading!
