Beach close home in San Clemente! Room for rent in private home - walk to beach, park, local golf course. Looking for responsible, clean, employed, respectful of others kind of person!
I don’t mind 420 or if you drink on occasion, but no hard partying types please. And smoking is ONLY allowed outdoors!
You will have use of the kitchen, living room, dining room, laundry area, patio, billiard room, courtyard with jacuzzi. I only ask that you clean up after yourself each time and be a clean person in general. (some basic house rules apply)
About the Room: 10x10 bedroom (not furnished) Shared bathroom Small closet Minimal additional storage in garage (tenant to pay 1/3 of water, electric, gas)
About the Home: The home was built in 1960’s. We had new carpet and paint done last year. And the ceiling fans are new and help with hot days (there is no AC). We do get nice cool, beach breezes most of the year. Summer can get hot, so get a fan or personal AC for the room.
About the Location: The home is in the Shorecliffs community. Walk to the Shorecliffs Golf Course for golf. Walk to the private beach with clubhouse. Walk to San Gorgonio park (softball, soccer, basketball, walking/jogging paths, picnic spaces, and ocean view!) If you surf, it’s a short drive to T-Street, Trestles, and SO.
We are a short drive (or walk) distance to the following: AM/PM, Shell Gas Surfside Pizza, TJ’s Woodfire Pizza Dry Cleaners, Nail Salon Liquor Store, Smoke Shop Auto Mechanic, DMV Rubio’s, The Habit Burger Grill, Wahoo Tacos Philly’s Best, Jersey Mike’s, others Starbucks, Dunkin’ Donuts Ralph’s, Stater Brothers, Trader Joe’s Wells Fargo Bank, Chase Bank Crunch Fitness Massage Envy CVS Drugstore
Parking/Transportation: Parking is on the street and most of the time available. One car ONLY please! You may have to park across the street at times but it is still close by.
OCTD runs right by the house - yes, the bus stops right on this street. Service to/from Long Beach. The Amtrak station is 3.5 miles (long walk) where you can catch the train to Oceanside, Del Mar, or San Diego. (or LA)
Storage: You have a closet, but we can discuss some limited garage space if needed.
Pets: I am not allowing more pets, sorry - there is one behaved cat here (named Duncan) and one good dog (Amelia) and that’s all we can handle.
About the roomies
Male in mid-50’s - manages the place, pretty laid back and quiet person. Male in mid-20’s - plumber by trade, easy going guy.
