About the room

Hello, I am renting out the master bedroom in my house. Ideally you would split the cost of rent w/ me. I currently pay $1735(includes water+internet) plus around $160 average for electric. So you would pay $947 on the high side. Also trash removal is optional @ $12.50 a month. I usually always take care of mowing so that would be included at no additional charge. The place is older & well loved but is cozy and never has many major issues. I’ve kept up with maintenance over the years. Also a new door is currently being put on which is why it’s off in the pics.

The house is in a private setting, close to town but tucked away in the country. Surrounded by wildlife, a creek, woods, fields etc. (Mostly) Wrap around porch w/hammocks, firepits. There’s also a basement(unfinished). There’s 3 rooms but I am currently using 2 of them (one of them is for my daughter). There’s 1-1/2 baths, one full that will be shared and there’s a half bath in the master. You would get the master room with private entrance, large closet, and 1/2 bath as mentioned. There’s a shared basement, shared laundry, etc. Everything else is pretty much shared, kitchen, living room etc. House is a little over 1500 sqft so it’s roomy and not crowded.

Must also be ok w/ animals as I have 1 cat. I feel hypocritical for saying, but we don’t really care to have anymore animals in the house due to previous tenants.

About the roomies

My girl Caitlin and I have lived here for a good few years. We enjoy the peace and quiet the property has to offer. We are easy to get along with and laid back. Caitlin enjoys crafting while I enjoy playing instruments.
