Gorgeous and spacious room with fresh paint, wood floors, wraparound windows and plenty of light! It is located on the ground floor of our home with views of our pollinator friendly gardens and over 6 acres of secluded woods. Wildlife abounds, including native birds, wild turkeys, owls, fox, deer and others. The room is tastefully decorated and the furnishings are brand new, modern and great quality. All public areas of our home are furnished, shared and maintained by all. Singles only please. We are located in the beautiful Hudson Valley in upstate NY and are 10 minutes from Rhinebeck and 5 minutes from Red Hook villages. Bard College is 15 minutes away. The Taconic is conveniently nearby.

We have hosted housemates from Chile, France, Japan NYC, DC and many other places! It has been a rich and rewarding experience.

All of our rented rooms are on the first floor of our home. There is a large shared family room with a wood burning fireplace and side patio with lovely wooded views, grill, dining table. We share the common areas. Upstairs there is a large kitchen and a living room currently under renovation.

My son will be attending law school in the fall and is currently home and my daughter is a junior political science major and is home for breaks. We have two silly doodles and one not-so-silly kitty that live with us. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate additional pets. We love animals, but the inn is full!

We have made our home into a co-living space and have 2-3 carefully chosen housemates at any one time for from 2 nights to 1 year stays. All have private furnished bedrooms and share bathrooms. It’s been a wonderful experience and we’ve had the pleasure of meeting many interesting people!
