About the room

This is a cheap, ugly apartment in Washington Terrace. The apartment has a lot of ‘personality.’ I have an extra room available that would be perfect for a student, someone looking to save up some money, or a young’n looking to get started in life. I estimate the room is 12’x12’ . Rent and utilities (plus internet) are included. The property managers do require an application fee/background check for $195 (last I checked) and I’m willing to take that out of the first months rent.

To answer some questions you may have:

The litter box is in the spare room temporarily due to some remodeling going on by the property managers.
The spot on the wall is from a recently removed radiator
The closet has some water damage due to a leak that occurred. (Roof was redone after the leak)
The property managers are currently working to fix the damaged sheetrock from the leak (in the closet) and the radiator removal.
The light’s glass diffuser was shattered during roofing and needs to be replaced.

I’m a clean person, but I also understand that a little mess is a part of life (dust, clutter, etc. happen.) Sundays are cleaning days where we do all the basics, plus the occasional extra cleaning task. I’ve got an old washer/dryer set that you are welcome to use. Kitchen is small, but you’ll get your own areas for storage if necessary. If you’re good to me and my stuff, I’ll be good to you.

About the roomies

I’m a 33 year old male with an older female cat living alone. I’m an introverted, quiet, nerd that doesn’t like to get out much. I mostly work, game, and have the occasional outing. The apartment is a 4-plex with quiet neighbors and we don’t do a whole lot of partying, outside of the occasional music. If you want something simple, cheap, and quiet and don’t mind it being a little “po-dunk,” then you may like the place.

My cat is friendly, but does have a little bit of an attitude if you annoy her or do something she doesn’t like (touch her before she gets a good smell of you, touch her belly, etc), at which point she will do a little warning swat. Otherwise she is very sweet, but she HATES other cats and doesn’t do well with small children.
