We’re actively seeking creative and artistic archetypes; gardeners, cultivators, builders, handypeeps, and unabashed LGBTQs & allies in SW Portland’s lovely Hillsdale neighborhood (Less than 15 minutes from downtown via car, and also along a bus line on Sunset Blvd.) Being here is to be nestled among oak, fir, maple, dogwood; to listen to birdsong in the morning rather than hearing cars and people.
We are an active community spread across two separate properties and households with ample opportunity to collaborate in land-based projects, tending, agriculture. If you can dream it, you can probably do it. If you don’t know how, we can help. If we don’t know, you can help.

About the housing: • Spacious living room with lots of plant life. • Yard space, and backyard deck that has partial coverage for the winter seasons. Privacy from neighbors. • One full bath, one half bath. • Ample storage space. • Brand new high-efficiency washer, dryer, dishwasher- all that good stuff! • Feel encouraged to decorate and paint your rooms how you see fit. • Garage workshop area, and sewing spaces. • Ambient nighttime lighting, no fluorescence. • Acre of land, and garden space across the street. Plenty of space for outdoor and indoor DIY projects.

Larger primary bedroom with half-bath: $865/month; available now.
Corner bedroom: $765/month; available now.
Utilities usually run around $100-$150/person.
