This is a six-bedroom house right next to Old Town Pasadena, and there will be four rooms available from 07/01/2025 to 06/30/2026. The rent will be between $1400 and $1500 for three rooms and roughly $1700 for the master bedroom, which comes with its own bathroom (floor plan is attached, with available rooms circled). The rent includes utilities, gardening, and biweekly housekeeping of all common areas. The house has central heating and A/C, a dishwasher and paid washer/dryer, as well as furniture like couches and beds. The common spaces are a well-stocked kitchen, dining room, and living room (with beanbags, wrestling mats, and a home theater system). The house is a 5-minute walk from Vallarta and Smart & Final, and a 10-minute walk from Old Town. It’s less than a 10-minute drive to Caltech, JPL, or PCC. Depending on how many people with cars are interested, you may need to pay $3 per night for overnight parking.
There are currently two of us signed up for next year—24F and 26M (that’s me!). We’re both former Caltech undergrads, currently working as software engineers in cosmology and climate labs at Caltech. Some of our hobbies include hiking, music, reading, bouldering, dancing, and playing with our cats, Simon and Theodore! (Because there are two cats in the house, we’re searching for people who aren’t allergic and don’t have dogs or small pets.) We’re looking forward to having a fun, social house environment, inviting friends over for dinner, games, parties, and movie nights whenever is convenient. We can’t wait to meet our awesome new housemates! 😊
