We have an oversized unfurnished room with a walk-in closet and access to a private full bath available for rent to a suitable individual in our home in the Brandon Woods section of Virginia Beach. The home is a single family 4-bedroom ranch with on-street parking available in the front. You are welcome to use the kitchen and family room (when we are not using it) as well as the back yard. The “We” are a professional couple; one is a lawyer and the other is the owner of a hair salon. We share the house with an elderly beagle and a young Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, so although you cannot have a pet, you must be pet friendly, as they are both people friendly. The rent is $600.00 monthly, including utilities, water and access to Wi-Fi. There is also a security deposit of $200.00 required. The room is available now.

The house is near KempsRiver Shopping Center, Tallwood High School, Farmhouse Brewery (a real bonus) and Regent University. With the size of the room and the privacy, it would be ideal for a Regent student. All utilities including cable are included, except your cell phone, and wi-fi access is available.

We are looking for a tenant, not a roommate, so you are pretty much on your own as far as coming and going. Security of the house is critical. A suitable individual must have a full-time day job or full time college student, not have been evicted from somewhere else, pass a background check, be considerate of others, be mindful of noise, watchful of the animals, be cooperative in the use of the house and be clean. The situation is not really suitable for overnight visitors, be they adult or children. No smoking, drugs, pets or weapons are permitted. Occasionally we entertain and use the house for events, but most of the time we are out or in bed early.
