Our home is a 1-story house with a basement in a great neighborhood near Courtland Park. Our home has just had new floors installed, and most rooms have been renovated in the last 2 years. The bedroom for rent has 2 closets and a bunch of afternoon sun. We have many common areas including a new living room, dining room, kitchen, deck, and laundry room (in the basement). The bathroom was retrofitted to be partially accessible about 10 years ago, so the bathroom has a large shower instead of a tub. We have also created a raised bed garden off of the driveway for those who enjoy that activity. A renter will have access to all common areas as well as the privacy of their bedroom. Street parking is available in front of the home. Rent includes 1/3 of all bills (we buy groceries and cook separately) which covers many amenities like high-speed internet, streaming services, city water and trash pickup, cleaning supplies and paper products, home security, and lawn care. This property is shared with 2 single ladies (45 and 27 years-old) who are related to each other. Both of us are disabled for different reasons and are neurodivergent. The perfect roommate will be understanding of each of our needs. Our home is a Jewish home, however, we are respectful of another’s choice in religion (if any at all). Both of us are introverted (the 26 year old is pretty reclusive), but I enjoy having a few guests over to welcome in Shabbat and other Jewish holidays. I was formerly a teacher and tutor students on the side. The home has 2 pet cats that provide emotional support. Please contact me if you desire to bring another cat into the home.
