We have a huge fenced yard with pergola, hammocks, fireplace on patio & hot tub just inside the garage with overhead doors that open into the yard. We grow horseradish, tomatoes, mint, catnip & rhubarb. Enclosed screened side porch. We’re actually a working animal rescue. Don’t apply if you’re allergic to cats. Rent is based on how much work/volunteering you’d like to do in rescue/cleaning, etc Looking for someone who wants to be more than a tenant, but a friend who likes similar things. 150 yr old house with steam radiator heat & all the eccentricities that go with an older home, in my family for 60 yrs, 2 stairways, hidden closets. Want a resident cat(s) to sleep in your room? No problem. Want to read your way through an extensive library? Even better.
The only one living here is me right now, plus a friend who is staying temporarily to get back on his feet. I’m getting older, so need a bit of help with heavy things, opening jars, cat care, taking laundry up & down the basement stairs..
