Hello! One of my roommates is moving out with little notice, and we’re trying to find someone that can move in on January 1!

We have a three bedroom apartment in Prelude at Paramount Apartments. The room available is a corner bedroom with lots of natural light. The apartment has a large kitchen with microwave and dishwasher, and we have our own washing machine & dryer in the unit. We have central air, and in the winter we tend to keep the heat on a lower setting (68 to 70 or so). The bedroom does not have its own private bath - you would be sharing with one roommate (me). But the bathroom is spacious and comes with drawers and under-sink storage for both of us.

Your bedroom is not furnished, but the rest of the apartment is. We have a dining table and chairs, and two couches in the living room.

We are two single women in our 40s (but young at heart). I work from home with a job I love, and because of this I pay the bulk of the internet - making it cheaper for you! I have an ESA dog, who is ten years old and extremely loving. I am partially disabled and am very much a homebody. I love to cook and bake (and share!), and I spend a lot of time gaming. My roommate spends a lot of time out and about, loves nature, the gym, and also cooking. She has young adult children that sometimes visit, and they are very sweet. She also has a kitten. Her cat and my dog have never been allowed into your room, don’t worry.

What we’re looking for in a roommate: Kind, respectful of common spaces, LGBTQA+ FRIENDLY, bonus points if you like animals. Unfortunately we cannot have any more pets in the apartment, due to a very strict policy with the apartment office. We do need someone that can move in on or near January 1st, and an application process is required with the complex. Sorry, no under the table tenants here.

Rent and utilities are split between the three of us, and your portion is not likely to exceed $50 or $60 monthly, and may in fact be considerably lower. Again, I pay the bulk of the internet, though if you work at home we would renegotiate that rate.
