This is an UPSTAIRS Cottage house, built in 1917 architectural Spanish Revival era, with 3 Bedrooms + 2 Bathrooms, all rooms furnished, with full use of common living room, dining area, and Kitchen (with each housemate is designated their own personal use of a small refrigerator in the shared kitchen).
This Cottage is a separate upstairs home, and not part of the front main lagrger house. It also sits up high on a hilltop, too…but, it was built at the back end of property. There are nice North views of big trees and green landscapes, seen out the front living room large windows.
This Cottage has the original 1917 hardwood floors (living room has an area rug), hardwood floors are in the 3 bedrooms, and hallway. Kitchen, dining room, and 2 bathrooms have vinyl flooring, which are easy to keep clean.
Cottage is heated with a gas central furnace.
The 3 Bedrooms, all with ceiling fans, also have air conditioners in their window.
Living Room has only a ceiling fan for cooling, and windows which let in fresh cooler night air breezes.
Kitchen stove is an electric range.
Also, There are 3 separate small refrigerators in the kitchen, that are designated as one per each Housemate, for their own personal use.
Landlord includes FREE Utilities for your elect, gas, water, sewer, trash pickup.
Landlord does not pay for your WIFI, nor for any cable TV or satellite TV services, nor other such kind of services…. You are responsible for contracting your own choice of Services.
The Large front yard is 100’ feet deep, with several huge rock boulders, seen amongst several terraced levels of mature green landscaping, with large shady trees to sit, relax, rest under, during good weather.
Front Yard area has an open-air flagstoned Patio with outdoor seating…also is available for cooking on the BBQ grill, if you want to enjoy the green natural outdoor scenery.
This large Historical 1917 Compound is located as the highest up in elevation on Hill Ave, with nice spanning views overlooking the nearby neighborhoods
Parking is now available only in the front street on Hill Ave. (Sorry, All 4 parking spots on topside of the premises are already taken by other longtime tenants).
Note: Front entrance driveway is entered driving up a steep 100’ ft. long uphill drive to the top-landing, and continues with the driveway following around the backside of the Cottage house, and continues exiting thru to the back Alley, driving down eastward out to Summit St.
*Laundry Room is located in a separate room onsite… Shared by 7 other tenants as well, who live in the main front house.
This now available BEDROOM #3 is furnished with a single bed, 1 bedside stand, 1 table lamp, 1 large chest of drawers, 1 side chair, and 1 bedside floor mat.
Bedroom #3 has one window which faces the sunny south, and you can open the window for letting in fresh air, or to keep room comfortable with cool night breezes during good weather.
A summer provided window air conditioner keeps Bedroom #3 much cooler during hotter summertime weather.
About the roomies
I am the Landlord who is trying to help find a 3rd Housemate for these 2 men, who are seeking another “good fit” Housemate for their now vacant Bedroom #3.
They are both middle aged men, hard working, single men with full time jobs.
They have no pets. They claim to be drug free. They do not smoke inside house,
they always go outside to smoke…knowing it’s against the Landlord’s Rules to smoke inside the house.
They are decently clean when using the shared common areas of Kitchen, Dining room, Living Room, and the nearby back Patio Area.
*They expect their new Housemate to be clean in the same way as they are, in keeping good clean living habits in their Cottage, and on the premises.
They did not know each other when they moved in, months apart, …but seem to politely be getting along.
They each keep their personal private life to themselves, being mindful of each other’s personal space…and appear to be considerate to all the other tenants who are living on the property. They are respectful to their Landlords Rules, and respectful to their nearby neighbors.
They are not living a partying life, nor loud lifestyle. They only want quiet living Housemates living there with them, as well.
Hoping to find a responsible qualifying “good fit” Housemate, for their vacant Bedroom #3, to rent it on a Month to Month Rental Agreement with the Landlords, in their Cottage house on Hill Ave.
