We are looking for someone to take over the remainder of the lease term, with the ability to renew, for a room in a 3 bedroom 3 bath house. The lease ends June 30. One current tenant has no plans to move, and the other will move out sometime mid-summer.
Basic information: Rent: $800 Utilities: Usually around $100 per person. A bit higher in the winter and lower in the summer Bathroom: Shared with 1 other person. There is another full bath off of the office space that is pretty small but still functional (not pictured). Location: Right by Trader Joe’s. About 1.5 miles from campus and downtown, and about 1 mile from Winco and Fred Meyer. Central air conditioning Washer and dryer Garden beds (we are in the process of cleaning them up for the spring so they look a bit rough right now) and covered back patio Lots of storage space including a two car garage with lots of space Shared office space/hobby room
A bit about the Household: Generally, the house is pretty quiet and chill. We have get togethers occasionally. We aren’t a super clean house but we try to give everything a good clean every week or so and do basic cleaning (counters, sweep, etc) as needed in between.
There are 2 cats in the house right now. Vlad the Impaler (tuxedo) and Clementine (orange). Kinsley just got him at the end of the year so he’s still in his adjustment period but he doesn’t have any major behavioral issues. The cats won’t really bother anything that gets left out unless it really looks like a cat toy. They do not scratch furniture. We would prefer not to add any additional animals.
Hi! I’m Kinsley (they/she) and I’m a court clerk at the Benton County Circuit Court. I like crafting, gardening, going in long walks, and baking. I am the owner of both of the cats.
The other tenant is Keira (she/her). She is a graduate student at OSU in hydrology, defending her PhD in May and graduating in June. She likes trail running, biking, reading, and baking.
