Hi! I am looking for a roommate to move into the second bedroom of my house. My house is located Winter/ College Park and is very close to shops, restaurants, park ave and downtown. It is a 2 bed, 1 bath house so the bathroom will be shared, but it was recently remodeled. The house is fully furnished and you will have access to a kitchen and washer/ dryer. The second room is empty so you can bring your own private furnishings.

I will have a roommate agreement for you to sign but won’t have you commit to any sort of long term lease agreement. My room for rent is great if you’re in transition, or just moved to the area and looking to see where you may want to stay more permanently before committing to a long term lease.

Because it is my own home, I ask that you be respectful of my belongings and property and clean up after yourself. Please have no in/ out friends or overnight guests (exclusions may apply, ask for details) as I prefer to keep my house quiet and clean. I do have a dog and a cat. Both are sweet and friendly but my dog can be a bit wild. I would prefer you have no pets, but is negotiable.

My name is Jess. I am 29 and own the property, so yes I am both the landlord and roomie. I weight train about 5 times a week (I have my personal training certification). I am a vegetarian. I love being outside. I graduated from UGA with my bachelors of landscape architecture and am currently studying to take my LARE exam. This keeps me pretty busy and working a lot. I work from home sometimes which is why I like my house to be quiet and clean. I enjoy going out with friends, arts/ crafts, and scuba diving. I am friendly and down to earth.
