About the room
This is a casual conditional type of situation ; if it doesn’t work well for us . You have to leave without incident at the end of the term you have ore paid for . We’re flixible with month to month and week to week sometimes . Just NO Drama .
The space is very private like your own apartment . Comes with a dedicated parking spot which is shaded and in the well lit-driveway, (approx 30paces) to a shared porch entry that also serves as your kitchenette area with small fridge , microwave coffee maker and any kitchenette gadget you want to use . ( note the sink to wash your dishes is inside the house 5 paces) with a small table for food prep and eating and possibly a limited amount of crate storage or work /sports related stuff etc . You private entrance is within this space. Your room is good size with a very comfy king size bed , dresser , mounted flat screen , cozy chair and shelving .fluffy new bedding and towels . This space has its own window air conditioner and space heater . Your bathroom is outside your door across the hall with a tub and small closet.
****Here is the fine print ***** We refuse to be nosey , however if you have a “habit” that shows it’s ugly head in anyway that we find unbearable and offensive , we will ask you to leave . No drunks , no slobs , no addicts , no complainers, drama , guests ( in our shared areas) Other then the 5 paces outside your 2nd that leads to your bathroom - and the 5 paces from your kitchenette to our kitchen thru the porch slider to wash your dishes and lightly cook , on occasion -keep to the space yo have rented . We don’t want your guests cruising thru our “shared hallway “ to use your bathroom. Or thru our living room to the kitchen .
***The only exception to this rule is if you are a single parent who has very limited time with their child ( like every other weekend and one day a week ) *** however we are a 420 household we are a boisterous Italian - French couple who gave friends over late sometimes and our living room and tv are in the next room so there is a potential for noise at night and we smoke .
About the roomies
We’re a retired easy going but private couple of 30 years . We are home a lot. We’re looking for a employed (full time ) roommate, or a commuter, who is only there to sleep part time , who doesn’t have a lot of visitors ( that come into the house to use your bathroom- shower ) l However your sleep over guests- are fine as long as we don’t have to deal with them . A roommate who has their own life , appreciates the privacy of this space , doesn’t require a lot of kitchen access other then to wash their own dishes.there is a cat who lives at this hone however no pets allowed .
