About the room

The standard bedroom (11’x13’) with a shared full bathroom is very cozy and light. Our little farm is run as a private farm animal sanctuary where you will find much peace, privacy and a homey feeling. Only 15 minutes to Charlottesville and 20 minutes to the downtown mall. Out in the countryside while still very connected!

About the roomies

I’m a shepherdess and landlady and owner of this peaceful home and the mom of a handful Icelandic sheep, a donkey, three dogs, two chickens and bunny Lizzy. A 56 year old German/American, happy to live in this beautiful country for the last twenty years. Two tenants live with me under this roof (2.128 sq. ft. dwelling) which I call the home of Dr. Dolittle.
