About the room
Possibly negotiable depending on the circumstances. I have a 4 bedroom home on a lake in centrally located in Newport News on the York County line. I have a nice bedroom available with a private bathroom that would only be shared when my college aged daughter is occasionally in town…. (She is with a ballet company, and lives in a nearby city)… or when i have other very rare visitors. (Mostly family) My other “kids” are all over 30 years old. I am a retired schoolteacher, & father of 3 daughters & 2 sons.
Christian background… and hope to have someone in the home with similar values & ideals. (No drug or alcohol issues) Since I have occasional visits from my college aged daughter, I prefer to have a female in the home who would not have male visitors. it is a non smoking home.. I do have a small, friendly cat in the home.
I have a beautiful home on a lake with great opportunities for walking in a peaceful & safe area… and is very conveniently near to just about everything! (Very close access to I64)
(Shared kitchen, laundry, den, living room, and dining rooms.) I also have a beautifully landscaped yard full of roses, fruit trees, and springtime flowers)
The room is presently furnished, but can also offered as be unfurnished.
I would be happy to provide reference from the previous lady who stayed here for 2 1/4 years… or any of my grown kids.
About the roomies
Just me currently.. I am a retired schoolteacher & previous HU adjunct professor. I coach tennis for one of the local high schools… (so I am background checked)… I also am very active with various athletics, such as tennis, surfing, etc. My home is very quiet and peaceful, as is the surrounding neighborhood. The home is fully shared… kitchen,den, living room,dining rooms, laundry, garden, etc. I hope to be traveling more in the next year.
