It’s a 2300 SF house with 3 separate living areas and an huge kitchen. The “roomie” room is on a PRIVATE hallway with office and own bathroom. The room can be furnished I just want to find out what a student roommate would want / need. I’m in the process of posting pics of the room but the decor, furnishings etc can be changed around or taken out depending on what the roommate needs. It’s a very quiet room with large window on the side of the house and virtually impossible to hear from my end of the house and vice-Versa. The location is terrific 10 min max from UTD, between LBJ to the south and GBT to north, Hillcrest to west and Coit to East off Belt Line into the quiet, charming neighborhood of Northwood Hills. The area is beautiful, a tree-and-creek-filled neighborhood; it’s safe, friendly and convenient to all of North Dallas! My master “suite” has its own large media/living room and exit to back yard; guest rooms are on front/middle of house completely separate with a furnished Den/TV room, laundry room and very large kitchen adjacent. I do have friendly dogs who are quiet and love people but they can becseparated to my area of the house. If someone wants both guest rooms I would consider moving my office though when I meet with clients it’s in the very front living room. I only meet a few hours a week and have back living areas as an option. If a roommate has a people-and-dog friendly dog I’m open to discussing! I’m a young Gen-Xer who works with high school - grad school students. I’m an Independent Educational Consultant and Exec Director of an Australian Shepherd rescue organization. I’m a proud liberal, have lived all over the U.S., I prefer a student roommate because he will have his own life but be welcome all throughout the house with friends/visitors! I’d like a dog-lover, someone relatively neat and willing to help with reasonable household stuff. I’m easy and stay in my part of the house because it has all I need including a kitchenette. I don’t mind if roommate vapes or smokes THC inside but am not crazy about cigarette smoke and that has to be on front patio - it has a sitting area.
