About the room
Welcome to a private, furnished bedroom with its own bathroom in a quiet, well-maintained townhome at Battle Road Farm in Lincoln, MA. The room overlooks the woods and offers a calm, comfortable place to unwind at the end of the day.
The room is furnished with two closets, a desk and chair, a comfortable armchair, a single bed, a small bookcase, and a mirror. Linens and towels are provided.
The kitchen, dining area, and laundry are shared. Entry to the home is shared and secured with a keypad.
All utilities are included, along with a dedicated parking space. In place of a security deposit, renterβs insurance is required (typically $15β$25 per month). A $25 monthly household fee covers shared essentials such as paper goods, laundry detergent, and cleaning supplies. A $300 cleaning fee is assessed every three months.
The townhome is approximately 13 miles from downtown Boston. Concord and Lexington are about a 10-minute drive, and Walden Pond is approximately 15 minutes away. Grocery stores and healthy dining options are close by.
I operate a small, professional wellness practice on the first floor of the home, which means the space is kept to a consistently high standard of cleanliness and care. I typically see 1 to 2 clients per week during the day.
This home is best suited for professionals such as traveling nurses, MIT Lincoln Lab contractors, Teachers, Sales professionals, or students who work full-time or part-time outside the home and value a quiet, respectful living environment. Guests often appreciate the ease of living here and the sense of being close to nature.
If this sounds like a good fit, Iβd be happy to arrange a video call to learn more about you and answer any questions.
About the roomies
Iβm semi-retired with a friendly, down-to-earth nature and a love for a peaceful, well-kept home. After 20 years in IT as a data analyst, I now split my time between Lincoln and my summer place in Maine, with the occasional trip to NYC. I live a healthy, active lifestyle, enjoy cooking fresh, clean meals (mostly plant-based with a little chicken or fish), and appreciate a calm, respectful environment. Movement and creativity have always been part of my life β from horseback riding to dance and theater. I also run a small wellness practice from home, keeping the space serene and private for everyone who shares it.
