Unfurnished room for rent in Mill Valley (Strawberry neighborhood). $1335 before utilities (PGE&internet), two-bed/one-bath, shared laundry, large deck with a beautiful view of Mount Tam, and all new appliances. Preferred roommate: mid-twenties to mid-thirties, clean and considerate with no pets. If the listing is up, the room is still available - flexible for the move-in date.

I am a 24 year-old Interior Designer working in hospitality design, i.e., hotels, restaurants, spas, etc.. In my free time, I enjoy reading, working out, playing violin, and exploring the area. I’m hoping to get more into cooking in the future. I have family I visit on weekends occasionally and would love to find a roommate with whom I can explore more of the area!

I’d prefer a roommate who’s considerate and clean since I am someone who naturally keeps a clean space. I can chat about anything under the sun or keep to myself, and I value living with someone with whom I enjoy being around. I have an adjusted schedule, so I tend to go to bed around 10 pm and wake up at 6 am. I have put a lot of energy into making this space feel like a home, so I would love a roommate who adds positive energy! It would also be helpful for someone who mainly has items for their bedroom, since the common area is fully furnished.

The room for rent is slightly smaller of the two rooms, and I get the assigned parking spot (there are lots of spots for street parking), so the rent is adjusted to cover that. The room has a large closet, fits a queen bed, and has wonderful morning light. I’m currently staying in the apartment by myself, so there is a lot of flexibility for touring and when you could move in. The minimum stay is one year, and the lease goes month-to-month after that.
