About the room
About the room -The apartment is a duplex. Two rooms are on the top floor and one room is on the bottom floor. The room for rent is on the bottom floor. -The room is unfurnished. -I believe our current roommate’s bed is a full. You might be able to squeeze a queen in if you wanted to. I haven’t really measure it for that. -The closet is huge. -The rooms have little balconies! Our current roommate has a small hammock on hers that she chills out in.

About the apartment -It’s a 3rd/4th floor walk up. -There’s a super cute roof space. -The half bath is downstairs, the full bath is upstairs, and there’s a shared kitchen/living space downstairs. -We have central air and heated bathrooms (yay!). -There is laundry in the building. -The M is about 5 minutes away and the L is about 10 minutes away. We’re near a bunch of coffee shops, bars, and grocery as well. It doesn’t take very long to get into Manhattan.

Cost (’cause we have to talk about it) -The room is $1050. -This does NOT include electric, gas, and internet. Please do keep that in mind when trying to decide if this fits in your budget. -Also note that when you sign the lease, you should be prepared to send in first month’s rent ($1050) and the security deposit for that room (another $1050). -The lease is for 1 year, July 1 to June 30
About the roomies
-We’re two women, age 27 and 28. We don’t smoke, we don’t have any pets, and we try to keep things as clean as possible. We work 9-5s, Mon-Fri. On weekends, we spend most of our time doing domestic nonsense (cleaning, grocery shopping, cooking, watching Netflix).
-One of us is highly allergic to cats, so please no cat owners. On dogs, we prefer they don’t shed a ton and that they are quiet/well-trained.
-Neither of us is straight, so if you’re not LGBT friendly, this might not work out.
