The house is a new build 3 bedroom and 2 1/2 bath, with granite counter tops in kitchen and bath. The driveway is large enough to fit two cars, a truck, and a motorcycle, so there’s no issue with parking. There is a a good sized fenced in yard with a fire pit, a deck, and a shed. I love to garden and have big plans to make the yard a beautiful space. I am working on a natural privacy fence and other landscaping now. I already have a few raised beds, some apple trees, and some berry bushes that I’m pretty excited about. There are two empty bedrooms that you could have your pick of. They have a Jack and Jill bathroom between them that would be your private bathroom. There is a half bath in the hallway for guests. There are also a few streaming services I would be happy to share.

The house is 10 minutes from downtown, near the GA border, and conveniently positioned to slide past the traffic on 24. There are lots of outdoor activities in the area. The Cumberland Mountains are to the west, the Appalachian mountains are only a few hours to the east, the Ocoee River is about an hour east, and Cloudland Canyon is about an hour south.

I’m from Chicago and I moved out here for family a few of years ago and ended up buying a house. I have a full time job and when I’m home I’m usually working in the yard or just relaxing with a movie. I’m pretty quiet and easy going. I usually just invite one friend over at a time. Occasionally I’ll have people over, but I am very conscious of the etiquette of cohabitation. I do like to keep the house clean and cared for and I’m happy taking care of that myself. The only ask is that the fridge doesn’t get crazy and I don’t even mind doing the dishes as long as it doesn’t get out of control. I have a dog, her name is Daisy, she’s very friendly and pretty old, so she is very quiet. She loves other animals and is super gentle, even as a pup. She’s 16 now so I don’t know how much longer I will have her, so I would love to share the house with someone who loves animals, my old girl is really sweet.
