This is a very comfortable wood, and tiled floor, furnished home, located 2 mins to Hwy 12, at Fulton, and 5 minutes to 101, on the downtown exit. The house has a large, fully-stocked, gourmet kitchen/family room, with a gas fireplace. There’s also another living room and dining room. We have a full utility/mudroom, with a high-end washer and dryer, which goes through to the attached two-car garage. The house is in a family neighborhood, conveniently located three miles from downtown Santa Rosa, and just over five miles to Santa Rosa Junior College, the SJC extension and south-west campus is just a two minute drive away, and downtown Sebastopol is 4 miles away. There are two decks, and an outside porch, with furniture. So, great hang out places in the warm weather. We also are in the path of the Petaluma wind gap, so a lovely breeze comes through beginning around 3pm, which cools down the house and outside redwood deck areas etc.

The available bedroom is a wood-floored, light-filled room, which has three windows, two facing a tree-lined street. There is a large built-in closet. It is a lovely room on the first floor of the home, 18 stairs to the bedroom. Currently the room is furnished, with a comfortable Queen-sized bed, with an organic mattress, two side tables and a dresser. The room can be available non-furnished. The bathroom is shared with one housemate, who usually showers at the gym, so rarely uses the bathroom in the morning for showers, just very quickly in the morning and evening. They leave, in general, around 6am or earlier, for the gym, and the shared bathroom is kept meticulously clean. Also, there is a half bath downstairs, when needed. We would prefer a sober living and chemical-free environment. :-) We are both friendly, and respectful of people’s personal spaces. So, we take our phone calls in our own bedrooms, rather than in the communal spaces. I work from home, as a writer, teaching creative writing classes online, therefore I have to work in a quiet environment. Overall, we are mellow, easy to get along with, roommates. So, we are looking for a third housemate who is similar in personalities to us, and a professional; who is detailed in cleanliness, as we have a shared kitchen. And we like to keep communal spaces including the bathrooms clean. We are looking for a kind, quiet & respectful person, with mature communication skills, who likes to be clean and tidy.
